This is going to be a fairly shorter post. So, as you know Catholic Unraveled officially launched on July 1st 2024. Having thought about it I thought it might be good to give a sort of roadmap of this project along with a clarification of some of the goals.
July 2024
This month is largely focused on two main points. The first is bug finding and website refinement. Having just gone live I expect there to be a few bugs and stuff that don’t work as well as I’d like. Overtime these will be fixed and refined. Of course, this will be a perpetual project but is a big focus of this month.
The second is initial content. Of course, I’m open to questions and will answer them. However, of course they’re somewhat slow as this project has just begun. So I’ve been largely making my own questions and answering them.
The third is formatting and refinement of content. As I continue with this project I am getting a handle on what works and doesn’t work.
August 2024
August will be dedicated to the Catholic Unraveled Projects hard launch. This will not affect the main site too much but it will be branching out into other platforms including Medium, Tumblr, and Youtube.
September 2o24
This month will include a formal advertising campaign as well as the first ever Catholic Unraveled Presentation “What should I know about Catholicism?” This presentation is intended to be for lack of a better term a shortform version of RCIA. This presentation will be gear more towards people interested in the faith rather than faithful Catholics.
2025
The year of 2025 will be focused on operations and growth. While there are few specific plans the year will be focused on answering questions quickly (within 48 hours) and effectively. In the month of August I plan on holding a “State of Operations” presentation.
2026
God willing a following has grown this year will be focused on monetization. Don’t worry. I will never monetize the main service. As you are probably aware running a project like this is not free. Especially if it grows to a bigger size. I plan on adding product offerings in order to fund further expansion and my plan for 2027.
2027
This year will be mission focused. God willing Catholic Unraveled is successful I would like to split into other missions to spread the word of Christ in the real world. I have yet to determine exactly what this will look like but it will most likely be in the form of volunteer services or fundraising for Catholic Charities.
2028-Forward
I can’t say what the future will hold. However, as this projects continues to grow I hope to continue growing, improving, and expanding. So, God be will lets have a wonderful life changing 5 years and more.
